Today is National S'mores Day and we're celebrating by snacking on our delicious S'mores popcorn (as if we needed another reason to munch on this delicious treat).   While the origins of this National Food Holiday are unknown, the history of this classic campfire treat is. The creation of this tasty snack is credited to Alec Barnum. However, the first documented recipe of the delicious, gooey snack appeared in a 1927 Girl Scouts publication. Many believe that the name came from people want more of these delicious treats and did so by asking for "some mores".
