When will my order arrive?

Please check the UPS website for the most current shipping information. You can find ship times here. We ship from zipcode 98144.

Your order will be shipped the business day after you place it, unless you specify a later delivery date in the order notes.

Most orders are received within 2 to 11 business days.

If you select our Flat Rate Standard Shipping option, please understand we may be shipping via UPS Surepost. Surepost is a special service where UPS partners with local post offices and USPS delivers your package. Please note, that due to this extra step and additional transfer form UPS to USPS, delivery time will be affected. The map above reflects transit days for UPS Ground. If you do select Flat Rate Standard shipping, please add an additional 1-3 business days for delivery time.

Order Example:
Order placed on Monday.
Order will ship on Tuesday.
"Next Day Air" will arrive on Wednesday
"2nd Day Air" will arrive on Thursday
"3 Day Select" will arrive on Friday
"Ground" will arrive per above map

 *Orders to the east coast shipped via UPS Ground can take up to 7 business days.*

**At this time, we are currently unable to ship to FPO and APO addresses.**

***As an artisan company, we hand-craft and hand-pack everything ourselves. During the month of December we experience high order volumes. Please allow an extra 1-2 days on Flat Rate and Ground orders for arrival.***

How fresh will my popcorn be?

Our popcorn is popped fresh, is perishable, and contains no artificial preservatives.

Bags purchased online are heat sealed and stay fresh for 2-3 weeks without opening if stored in a cool, dry place, like a pantry.

Bags purchased in store stay fresh for about 2-3 weeks. Our hard kernel popcorn, or caramel-based popcorn, have a 3 week optimal shelf life. While our soft kernel popcorn have a 2 week optimal shelf life.

For orders with chocolate coated popcorn, please be advised we cannot guarantee that chocolate will not melt in transit during hot summer months. If you are concerned about potential melting, we recommend ordering your items with 2 day shipping to reduce the amount of time your package spends in a hot truck.

If I'm placing a large order, will that delay my shipping?

For orders over $500, or orders that include hospitality bags, please allow 3 business days for the order to ship due to the time-intensive nature of these orders. We appreciate advance notice when possible; you can specify your preferred ship date in the order notes.

We cannot accept responsibility for any packages shipped to a PO Box via UPS. Delivery to PO Box addresses is at the discretion of UPS, and may be in conflict with their service terms in the delivery area. Please adjust your shipping address to a non-PO box address, or contact UPS to confirm their service in your area. We are also currently unable to ship to APO and FPO boxes.

Do you ship internationally?

Shipping outside the US is only available to Canada at this time. Please note that international shipping costs can be significantly higher than domestic rates. *Due to the unpredictability of the customs process, we cannot guarantee delivery dates to locations outside of the US.*

What is your return policy?

All sales are final and we cannot accept returns. However, nothing is more important to us than your complete satisfaction. If you receive popcorn that does not meet your expectations, please let us know at

What if my package arrives damaged?

It is a good idea to check your packages for any signs of shipping damage before opening and note any damage. If there is obvious damage, please call the shipping company (UPS) as soon as possible to submit a damage report. If you do need to return the products, please contact us immediately at

What is the best way to pop your mushroom and butterfly kernels at home?

We suggest popping kernels with an air popper or on the stove, per instructions here.

Are your cheddar flavors made with real cheese?

Yes they are!

Do you have gluten-free flavors?

All of our flavors, EXCEPT for S'mores, are gluten-free. However, we are not a gluten-free facility. All flavors are produced in a facility that uses tree nuts, milk, soy, coconut, and gluten. Every flavor may contain traces of these allergens.

Does KuKuRuZa have a donations program?

We review all donation requests on a quarterly basis during the first week of each quarter. This typically falls in the first week of January, April, July, and October.
